Hello everyone,
Our annual general meeting will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 10:00am. The location is Lake Norman Chamber Visitors Center, 19900 West Catawba Ave., Cornelius, NC. Lake Norman Chamber Phone - 704-892-1922 Also, pickup your access lot key for 2011 - 2012 with paid dues in full. Make $50 annual dues check payable to Bahia Bay Homeowners Association & write your property address on your check.
It's time to elect the new officers for 2011 - 2012. Please talk to Jackie Bombard or any board members if you're interested in volunteering for 2011 – 2012 executive board positions or questions and details. There’s sign up sheets at our general meeting to volunteer on a committee/s on June 4, 2011, as well. We need volunteers for one year.

Meet & Greet Your Neighbor Party
Our annual Party is Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 4pm to 7pm at the access lot (rain date May 7). We’re having Pizza, Fried Chicken, Sides, Veggies, chips, drinks, & more. BYOB and No glass please. Our theme is Tiki and Hawaiian if anyone wants to dress up.

Neigborhood Yard Sale
Our annual yard sale will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 8:00am – 2pm. (We’ll have an ad in the paper)
Access Lot
Mowing - We will be paying $30 per mowing (your mower & gas) for the access lot and entrance. This is for any one in our Bahia Bay neighborhood who is interested. Please contact Joe Pellino at 704-896-8777 (access lot committee chairperson) if you would like to do this.
Dock - We will be paying $75 for labor to put clear water seal protector on the dock using your sprayer. (water seal protector will be reimbursed) Please contact Joe Pellino at 704-896-8777 access lot committee chairperson if you would like to do this.
Thank you to all the volunteers in our wonderful neighborhood including Joe, Mark, Joe & Jan, Mike, Lisa, Kat, Dennis & everyone who helps with trash cans, clean up, poop bags, cigarette butt removal, picking up sticks, raking, and mowing the entrances. Please let family, friends, and guests know that we have ash trays & cigarette butt containers on the picnic tables and dock for cigarette butts at the access lot. Thank you for caring about our neighborhood.
Beautification
Thank you Jan, Susi, and John for keeping the front entrances looking fabulous. Anyone is interested in participating in a neighborhood clean up day, please contact Jan & Joe Pellino at 704-896-8777.

Hello everyone,
Below is an update of new officers, committees, contacts, recent improvements and more. The new board is open to all suggestions. Our vision is neighbor helping neighbor to provide a safe, valuable and peaceful community.
Association Dues
Welcome all new residents!
Please send your required $50.00 dues for all homeowners to P.O. Box 1202, Cornelius, NC 28031 and please write your property address on your check. Thank you for your prompt payment for those of you that have already paid.
Access lot keys can be obtained from our treasurer Holly Millsaps (704-996-9849) dues paid in full.
The restrictions and bylaws on our web site www.bahiabay.org. Please contact a board member, neighbor, or library for a copy if you do not have access to a computer. The Cornelius library has computers to access the Internet free too.
Boo Bash
Our annual Boo Bash will be on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 2:30pm to 4:30pm at the access lot. There will be a costume contest, games, prizes, hay rides, pony rides! Also, we will be having pizza, chips, drinks, cookies & more.
Access Lot
Thank you to all the volunteers in our wonderful neighborhood who helped with the tasks below.
Joe, Mark Davis, Joe & Jan Pellino for replacing the rotten posts at the access lot gate.
Mike Takes for putting up the railing on steps and cutting the post so it's flush. Also, for the plaque on green picnic table donated by Isabell Waugh in her loving memory.
Jan & Joe Pellino for the no wake signs on the dock. Lisa, Larry, Annie & Kat for carpet replace on the steps, as well.
Thank you Mike Finn for mowing the grass at the access lot. Thanks for everyone who helps with mowing the entrances,trash cans & clean up.
There are now ash trays and cigarette butt containers on the dock, picnic tables for cigarette butts at the access lot. Please let family, friends, and guests know. Thank you for caring about our neighborhood.
